Description:Engineering Aide will provide support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks including troubleshooting and repairing the test station, ITAs and cabling. Candidate will be required to learn the Service Request system and properly document their repairs and troubleshooting. The candidate will need to know general fabrication processes such as, soldering, crimping, connector pin replacement, assembly, fabrication verification, etc. Candidate needs to be able to read and understand schematics and redline them as necessary when making modifications. This roles is responsible for producing engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). A minimum High School diploma, and equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/paraengineering tasks. Performs non-routine and moderately complex assignments. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, manipulate data and equipement (ATE).

Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience with test equipment processes of documentation; materials procurement; and fabrication.
• Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
• Extensive experience in electro mechanical fabrication and repair for test stations, interface test adapters, cables, etc.
• Extensive experience in reading electrical schematics.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting hardware failures based on test reports and other failure review board documentation.
• Candidate will also be able to routinely travel to Ocala for installation and troubleshooting efforts.
Some experience in the use of automated test software (TestStand) to execute test programs.
