Engineering Aide- Orlando, FL

Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an Engineering Aide to provide program support for our Systems Integration and Test team at our Orlando, Florida site.

To be considered for this role you must currently hold an active Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 6 years.

Responsibility includes, but not limited to:

- Laboratory resident-in-charge duties for a large Special Access lab which include enforcing safety protocols, lab area housekeeping, and equipment calibration due dates
- Managing logistics for off-site testing
- Transporting test setups on-site between work areas
- Interface support between engineers and material purchases and orders
- Managing engineering components inventory
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have computer technical knowledge and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Previous logistic and/or inventory management experience.

To be considered for this role you must currently hold an active Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 6 years.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with technology or engineering industry.

Knowledge of basic electrical concepts and terms (i.e. current and voltage).

Demonstrated expertise with lab management principles from prior assignments in leadership roles
