Cyber Software Engineer

Description:This position is for an Information Assurance Engineer working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Information Technology (EIT), Corporate Information Security (CIS) – Continuous Cloud Configuration and Control (C4) team.

Development & Automation Engineer and Security Analyst responsibilities:
- Implement software features and infrastructure as code in support of backlog requirements
- Perform root cause analysis of system faults, produce detailed report, derive implementation to address faults
- Support use of and implementation of DevOps requirements such as CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Effectively assess cloud infrastructure configuration risks, determine appropriate control implementation to address those risks
- Technical testing of significant maintenance / operational / upgrade activities, and process enhancements/updates

A development background, familiarity with cloud-based security tools, automation, DevOps, and full stack engineering. Effective verbal and written communication skills and management of priorities and deliverables plus the ability to work within a team environment are expected. Heavy collaboration and consulting with numerous business area/business unit representatives, adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct in addition to the ability to work flexible hours are expected.
Basic Qualifications:
Demonstrated effective oral and written communicator to both management and technical staff
Development Background utilizing one or more of the following technologies: Java, C#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript or associated scripting languages.
Demonstrated Team Player
Demonstrated strong and effective Customer Care skills.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience utilizing and developing continuous integration/continuous Pipelines
Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable working with a variety of languages and architectures.
Experience with AWS APIs, Lambda. DynamoDB, EC2, VPC, CloudFront, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, IAM, Config
Experience with Microsoft Azure
Experience with Google Aptitude
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment
Requirements gathering, developing technical specification and architecture diagrams.
ServiceNow integration experience
Certification credentials (AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or CISSP)
Information Security related background
