Description:Join the exciting evolution of employee communications at Lockheed Martin! As an integral member of the RMS Enterprise Employee & Executive Communications (E&EC) team, the successful candidate will provide full spectrum communications support—on both internal and external employee channels—supporting our HR initiatives and campaigns. This role will also support E&EC projects including functional communications projects, RMS-wide employee experience campaigns and more. Coordinating across RMS Communications team, this role will ensure purposeful employee communications that achieve desired results.

The successful candidate will develop strong partnerships with colleagues to provide the most effective communications strategies and approaches supporting employee communications, with a focus on HR, in RMS. Collaboration is critical in this role, which involves content collection and integration across communication functions (lines of business, media relations, marketing, employee communications) to develop and execute communications strategies that support RMS Key Results. Partnering with the RMS Business Services design team, this role will help bring strategies and concepts to life through compelling visuals, videos and multimedia.

Responsibilities include:
• Communications Strategies: under the guidance of senior team members, develop strategic communications plans supporting RMS and EO level HR campaigns, as well as for functional project support to include:
o Content Creation: develop and coordinate thoughtful, engaging content on internal and external employee channels to support communications strategies.
o Digital Asset Production: coordinate with multiple functions to create digital assets that support communications strategies including photos, videos, infographics and other visual content.
o Project Packages: Develop themes, key messages, templates, talking points, video scripts, speeches, etc.
o Targeted Information Dissemination: Put information into the target audience’s hands through targeted employee channels.
• Team Support: lead the E&EC team’s tactical support for employee communications including:
o Management of bi-weekly leader communications
o Management of multi-channel push notifications
o Metrics reporting
Basic Qualifications:
Exceptional writing, editing and oral communications skills with the ability to convey highly complex information in clear, compelling ways.
• Must have exceptional writing skills
• Experience in a variety of communications disciplines including executive/employee communications, marketing, media, community relations
• Experience in a variety of communications channels including short form, social media, feature stories, writing for personas, etc. Visual communications experience a plus.
• Familiarity with contemporary communications trends and industry techniques
• Ability to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and executive leadership
• Creative thinker willing to bring forward new ideas
• Deadline driven: ability to meet deadlines in an agile environment
• Results driven: ability to develop and execute communications strategies to achieve desired results
• Must pay close attention to detail and be able to work on many projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in communications related discipline
