Description:Derco Aerospace, Inc., an industry-leading aerospace distributor of spares, components, and services, is seeking an innovative, experienced Capture Manager with a background in aircraft engineering, infrastructure and maintenance to join its Business Development Team. Successful candidate will work with a highly integrated team of sales and technical professionals in support of achieving sales growth objectives with foreign military operators. The position will be directly responsible for developing the Derco value proposition toward aircraft technical solutions, and will demonstrate an ability to transition that development into executing winning proposal and capture efforts. The position will have visibility across the organization coordinating with both Engineering, Programs and Sales Organization while developing, promoting and marketing the Derco solutions worldwide. Additional responsibilities include researching and analyzing military aircraft market conditions both nationally and internationally in order to identify new military aircraft market opportunities. The position will also communicate the findings and assist in the development of marketing strategies to meet company, department, and individual objectives.

Both Domestic and International travel is required. Knowledge of depot operations and/or commercial/military maintenance programs a plus.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Capture Lead or Co-Contributor
• Win strategy and solution development
• Proposal management and development
• Research and develop technical offerings Liaison with customer, BD Sales, OEM Sales, Procurement, and Account Management
• Contract Negotiations

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Foreign language skills are a plus.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the areas of aircraft maintenance/logistic support or program management in the aviation industry.
