Description:
You will be the Air Dominance Production Operations Sr. Senior Manager, reporting to the AirDom Prod Ops Director and leading all aspects of Production Operations for Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD). Our team is responsible for driving the success of our production operations, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Air Dominance Production Operations Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of Prod Ops EMD, including proposals, hardware planning and scheduling, cost management, and interface with the US Government. You will work closely with the Production Operations Sr Manager and will have a dotted line reporting relationship to the Airdom PM Director. You will also collaborate with the Simulation IE to develop and implement simulation strategies, and will be a key contributor to the Lead Time IPT team, working to reduce lead times and improve efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading all aspects of Prod Ops EMD, including proposals, hardware planning and scheduling, cost management, and USG interface
• Collaborating with the Production Operations Sr Manager and Airdom PM Director to drive business results
• Working with the Simulation IE to develop and implement simulation strategies
• Contributing to the Lead Time IPT team to reduce lead times and improve efficiency
• Coordinating with other functional areas, including Engineering, Master Planning, and GSC, to drive closure to technical and supplier initiatives
• Leading meetings, identifying opportunities for savings and product improvement, and developing program schedules and manpower plans
• Providing hardware support, scheduling, and NRE activities, and implementing lean initiatives
• Communicating effectively at all levels of management, authoring Program Directives and SOWs, and providing direction via command media requirements

Basic Qualifications:
Production planning and scheduling experience
Production process knowledge
Excellent verbal/written communications, must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of management via verbal and written correspondence
Good interpersonal skills
Must possess and demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership competencies
Budget Management experience
Confident in use of Excel
Ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance, therefore must be a US Citizen
Typical Minimums Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
Familiar with business operations and EAC creation/updates

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
