Description:The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner will be a key role within the Enterprise Business Operations team. This individual will direct their staff to interface, coordinate and partner with the Aeronautics functional organizations to influence functional strategy while driving maximum utilization of resources. They will drive current year and future year success of the company by influencing discretionary decisions, and ensuring alignment of the Business Area strategy to functional affordability. Focused on Production Operations, Environmental Safety & Health, Quality, and Supply Chain, this position will be an integral part of the Aeronautics production process. Building a partnership with functional counterparts, particularly Directors and VPs, will be a foundation aspect of this role.
The Senior Manager will lead the RMS Manufacturing Finance organization supported by 3 managers and serve as the financial liaison between Operations and Program Finance. This individual will support three major areas of Mfg. Finance accountability for sites on the Common Operations System (COS): 1) Operations scope program performance (EV PPMP and PPM) 2) Surveil and maintain cost integrity of COS (including compliance to MMAS) 3) Develop for FPR and surveil manufacturing labor and material rates. They will be the process owner of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS), financial key elements, support Ops VP on special projects/requests. Drive the development of Manufacturing Finance Command Media processes. Participate as the financial team member of the implementation/conversion of COS at the RMS manufacturing sites. Be responsible for the earned value management reporting and analysis of all RMS manufacturing scope on COS and surveil/maintain cost integrity and parts ownership in COS. Develop manufacturing rates, support through FPR audit and monitor and analyze performance to rates. Will need an overarching understanding of Operations, knowledge of COS and have the ability to lead strong, independent and experienced managers.
