Description:May perform or support the following configuration management (CM) tasks as required: maintain bills of material (BOM) and revision level in EPDM for build to print programs. Support change management by assisting and coordinating on-site change control board (CCB) meetings and updating effectivity status for programs released to manufacturing. Analyzes product design and development changes; establishes corresponding procedures for change control and configuration. Supports configuration status data collection, configuration item indexes and recording of As-Built data for all programs. May interface with RMS or Space Systems Engineering on CCB implementation recommendations. May perform or support the following master data analyst (MDA) tasks as required: Process Material Master workflows, review Material Master data, data changes, release of new material numbers and BOM Data Extensions. Perform work flow approvals for Inventory Requests, Order Audits, and Production Order TECO’s. Maintains or performs Production Versions, Material Master Query/"ZR" Status Materials w/REQS – SQ00, UMC Material Report with Requirement’s, ABC and UID updates. Familiarity with technical documentation control and update processes. Helps develop and maintain functional policies and procedures in accordance with company standards. Performs review and configuration analysis of current / proposed documentation and procedures for completeness, format, and compliance with requirements to achieve greater operations efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent. experience/combined education. Entry level.
• Ability to effectively interact with various functional departments to manage bills of material, manage change and achieve production schedules while meeting cost, schedule and quality goals within a dynamic production environment.
• Capable of performing MDA (Master data analyst) tasks and many CM (configuration management) duties on multiple programs using EPDM and SAP.
Desired Skills:
Capable of creating parts lists and performing data comparison using MS Excel
Ability to perform product definition and engineering change analysis for build to print manufactured product
Understanding of program financial data and EVM and familiarity with managing schedule risk and cost mitigation
Possess technical aptitude and familiarity with operations systems
Capable of analyzing and interpreting Engineering Change Orders from internal and external customers
Capable of performing product definition and engineering change analysis for build-to-print manufactures products
Capable of analyzing large volumes of data as well as performing data comparison using Excel
Ability to effectively multitask and handle multiple projects/programs at one time
Capable of effectively working in a team with various organizations
Basic understanding/familiarity of MRP systems or production planning
Command of Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel skills, Excel Macro/Programming background a plus
Engineering degree, Science / Technical background or CM certification preferred
