Description:This position is for the Offutt Mission Assurance Center (OMAC) Lead under the NISSC II contract and located at Offutt AFB.
- OMAC personnel provide 24/7 system administration support of the ITW/AA Mission and the OMAC primary responsibility is maintaining the integrity of the Missile Warning Mission.
- This position is responsible for overseeing operations support and personnel managing multiple computer systems, maintaining system readiness, coordinating the installation of software releases, and implementation of system upgrades.
- This position requires daily interface with the Government customers, and a thorough, in-depth understanding of OMAC, CCIC2S, the ITW/AA network, and the 55th SCS operations.
- Ability to perform UNIX system administration is required. Customer Interface skills are required for fielding, diagnosing and resolving problems related to the Air, Space, and Missile Missions and CCIC2S software and equipment.
- Must be able to work in a mission-oriented environment centered on mission availability and quick response to customer requirements.
- Excellent communications skills are required for communicating with mission personnel, logging problems, and communicating with hardware maintenance personnel.

Work to be performed at Offutt Air Force Base (AFB).
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to administer one or more of the Combatant Commanders Integrated Command and Control System (CCIC2S) is required, with preference given to Communications or Missile Warning Systems administration. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze system problems is required, to include knowledge of Solaris and Windows operating systems. Ability to perform UNIX system administration is required.

Candidate must meet minimum certification requirement for DoD Directive 8570, “Information Assurance Training, Certification, and Workforce Management”. This position requires a minimum certification associated with IAM Level I, which may be met with Security+ or higher. Candidate must possess a qualifying 8570 certification within 3 months of hire date. Initial certification expenses will not be covered by the program.

DOD 8570 Certification required. Top Secret security clearance required.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarization with ITW/AA mission and systems is highly recommended.
- Ability to utilize HP Operations Manager and Altiris for system monitoring management is a plus.
- Oracle database experience is a plus.
- Network administration experience is desired.
