The selected candidate will support the Ocala Manufacturing Facility by designing, developing, and implementing industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, prototype model production and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline. Considered experienced, but still a learner.

• CAD experience

• This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
• Solid modeling experience in Creo/ProE or other enterprise-grade CAD packages, including CATIA, NX/Unigraphics/UGS, and SolidWorks
• CAD experience in parametric model-based design
• Previous experience with PLM software, specifically PTC Windchill, but also TeamCenter, or CATIA PDM
• Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts to tool design, including GD&T, ASME Y14.5, and ASME Y14.41 standards
• Previous experience with a wide array of manufacturing materials, including wood, vinyl, plastic, composite, and metal
• Understanding and ability to execute many different manufacturing processes, including manual machining with a lathe or mill, additive manufacturing with FDM or SLA, and post processing of small parts
• Ability to track and report on progress while working multiple congruent projects
