Electro/Mechanical Repair Specialist -OCALA, FL

Description:Utilizes independent judgment under general supervision to analyze malfunctions on a variety of digital, numerical control, and electro-mechanical industrial equipment, installs, maintains, repairs, or
modifies such systems.

Repairs, replaces and maintains all machinery, plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning, and hydraulic, pressure and physical structure as required.

Plans operations involving repairs and performs periodic maintenance on a variety of electronic and/or plumbing.

Studies, schematic, wire diagrams, blueprints, sketches, specifications and other related data to become
familiar with all aspects of the job. Performs the more complex portions of any planning and layout
required.

Directs the work of lower graded employees who assist in the accomplishment of the assigned duties
and may perform related and lower level maintenance duties.

Assists higher graded employees in the accomplishment of assigned duties.

Performs paperwork related to job responsibilities. Performs Computer based tasks including, E-mail,
Microsoft Office applications.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot and repair digital controllers and electro-mechanical production equipment.

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues to determine appropriate course of action.

Must have ability to work 2nd shift.

This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US citizen.
Desired Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working on a wide variety of electro-mechanical production equipment.

Two (2) year technical degree in a electronics field is desired.

5 years of experience
