What You Will Be Doing
As a Manufacturing Planner, you will support production operations by ensuring materials, schedules, and system data are aligned to meet program requirements. This role is responsible for independently managing day-to-day planning activities, resolving routine material issues, and coordinating across teams to maintain uninterrupted production flow.
You will serve as a key link between Quality, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Shop Floor Operations to ensure the right materials are available at the right time to support execution.
• Plan, release, and monitor work orders to support production schedules and program demand
• Track material availability and proactively identify potential shortages or risks to production
• Coordinate daily with Purchasing, Expediting, and Warehousing to resolve material constraints
• Execute and maintain planning transactions within ERP/MRP systems (SAP or similar)
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain system accuracy
• Monitor and report planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, and Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Communicate material status and schedule impacts to production and program stakeholders
• Support stock transfers and inter-site material movements as required
• Assist in resolving shortages, engineering changes, and traceability requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance planning processes and system performance
• Prepare, validate, and process DD250 documentation to support product sell-off and customer delivery in coordination with Quality, Contracts, and Operations

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system (SAP or similar) to execute material or production transactions
• Ability to independently manage daily priorities and resolve routine material or schedule issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reporting and data tracking
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Camden, AR
• U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4 or similar ERP systems
• Experience monitoring shortages, expediting materials, or supporting production schedules
• Familiarity with Bills of Material (BOMs), lead times, lot sizing, or MRP parameters
• Experience investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Experience creating reports and analyzing data in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas)
• Exposure to defense, aerospace, or other regulated manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements or efficiencies

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
