Cyber Test Exploitation

Our collaborative cyber test and training teams define one-of-kind tailored solutions to the cyber warfighter and deliver results to increase the cyber resiliency of our nation’s weapon systems.
Cyber Support Operations is seeking a penetration test lead for executing red team activities for cyber test and training exercises at the National Cyber Range Complex Pax River site. The selected candidate will be responsible for the overall quality of the cyber security evaluation team execution of events.
• Lead individual cyber security teams through evaluations and OPFOR campaigns for individual test, training events and mission based cyber risk assessments:
o Lead a small red team conducting day-to-day coordination and tasking
o Conduct hands-on penetration testing for individual test events with the team
o Owner/Author of test reporting artifacts and deliveries conducted by the red team
o Maintain and evolve standards and best practices for the red teams
o Ensure quality control measures are met for test execution and delivery artifacts produced by Cyber Security Evaluation Teams at the site
o Identify, schedule, and coordinate red teams to events based on availability, domain expertise and event specific parameters.
o Act as a liaison with event execution leadership and government leadership to understand event requirements for individual test execution
o Act as a liaison with event leadership and government counterparts
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and 7 years of related engineering experience.
• TS/SCI Clearance
• Penetration testing
• Leadership experience for multiple small teams with remote team members
• Technical writing
Experience in one or more of the following:
•Penetration Testing of modern Windows and Linux operating systems and IP based networks
• Exploit and malware development targeting modern operating systems and defenses
• Reverse Engineering
• Web Application Penetration Testing
• Hardware hacking
• Software Defined Networks
• Digital Forensics
• Experience conducting mission-based cyber risk assessments
• Offensive Security Certified Engineer (OSCE)
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
• GIAC Certified Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Testers (GXPN)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
