THE WORK

As the Subcontract Program Associate Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Mission Systems and Weapons (MSW) Market Segment and the Next Generation Solutions Submarket Segment. Key responsibilities include:
• Managing subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems across various contract types and programs.
• Directing and overseeing all aspects of subcontract performance, including costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical requirements to ensure alignment with contract milestones and program goals.
• Developing strategic plans for sourcing and subcontract program management, addressing program capture needs and execution.
• Leading all phases of the subcontract lifecycle, from initiating business cases for make-or-buy decisions to negotiating contracts and managing program execution.
• Taking ownership of the US Army Typhon Program, multiple other domestic and international MK70 pursuits, and the United States Marine Corps Long Range Fires Program..

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
• Proven experience in subcontract program management, preferably in a defense or aerospace industry setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve program goals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and customers.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and meeting program objectives.
• Familiarity with government contracting regulations and practices is desirable.

Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years min experience in Procurement or Subcontracts Administrative roles, experience in leading Program or Major Subcontracts
• Technical or Business degree
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
• Ability to develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) and to manage SDRL's (Subcontract Data Required Line Items)
Desired Skills:
• Strong subcontracts administration/organization/ management skills, P2P/SCNAV fluent with and ability to execute complex projects
• Working knowledge of various contracting types (Firm Fixed, Price, Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, Award Fee, T&M, etc.,.)
• • EVMS certified and proven experience
• Experience with managing proposals that require cost and pricing data and commercial item determination and reviews through EPP
• Ability to analyze proposals to verify accuracy, completeness and compliance
• Experienced in Subcontracts / Purchase Order Closeout
• Previous RMS Supply Chain experience
• Firm understanding of Import / Export Regulations and transactional processing
Diminishing Material Solutions (DMS) / White Paper construction through source identification, award and execution
• LM's CAM and Green Belt experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
