As the RMS Learning Experience Manager, you will be responsible for bringing innovation to our formal and informal learning programs, so that learning is easy and part of the everyday RMS Employee Experience. You will design the learning ecosystem that will allow our learners to take charge of when, where, what, and how they consume information and connect to each other. Your work will help us bridge the learning-performing gap by ensuring the knowledge gained in learning events translates into the performance needed to achieve business results.
The ideal candidate:
• Builds and maintains collaborative partnerships to implement learning programs
• Oversees the mapping and production of innovative blended learning solutions for clients across RMS at all levels that are practical for the business and drive performance improvement in an agile fashion
• Produces fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
• Advances our learning technology transformation by designing learning solutions that are untethered, on-demand, collaborative and empowered
• Stays up-to-date and knowledgeable of available learning technologies
• Develops engaging learner-centric content in multimedia formats to infuse learning in all aspects of RMS behavior
Specific Duties include:
• Serve as a thought leader for informal learning approaches and represent RMS on the Enterprise Learning Transformation team
• Create a strong brand identity for our learning and development programs and ensure alignment to all our artifacts
• Drive the execution and design of engaging learning solutions to include programs, courses, and communities of practice
• Establish a flexible learning cloud for our employees by leveraging social collaboration tools like discussion forums, blogs, videos, podcasts, and micro blogs to foster a learning culture and drive business outcomes
• Engage users and expand global reach by creating mobile web-based learning solutions
• Market and scale our internal learning programs so more learners have an opportunity to grow in their career
• Create pathways for users to generate content that improves performance relevant to their business goals
• Increase the number of options available for our learners to consume the same information by leveraging social collaboration tools like discussion forums, blogs, videos, podcasts, and micro blogs to foster a learning culture and drive business outcomes
• Develop internal adaptive learning methods to allow individuals to learn at their own pace and build expertise efficiently
• Make the right information searchable and accessible by curating quality information and resources for our critical skills
• Reinforce classroom learning by developing and implementing resources that provide reminders, practice opportunities, and knowledge bursts that remind and engage the individual in applying learning on the job
• Establish project plans, manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
• Organize, manage and create digital learning content to engage learning programs
Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ Years working in Learning Content Development environment and developing learning solutions with modern instructional approaches
• Experience with social Education Technology delivery platforms and Learning Management Systems
• Proficient with instructional design tools such as Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Vyond/GoAnimate and other web authoring software
• Practical knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles for needs analysis and content development
• Knowledge of virtual classroom applications
• Proficient in using image and video editing software including Adobe Photoshop, Camtasia, and/or Illustrator
• Experience implementing technology agnostic social learning methods such as Communities of Practice, Expertise Location, Streaming Video, or Blogs to develop critical talent segments
• Demonstrated ability to influence others
