Description:Manage strategy and business development for Integrated Warfare and Sensor Systems (IWSS) Advanced Concepts (AC) as the lead for the Advanced Products portfolio. Responsibilities include defining future customer capability needs and capturing Contract Research and Development (CRAD) to advance IWSS and OneLM strategy. Lead the development of integrated business and capture strategies to align LM’s pursuit of CRAD opportunities across customer and customer lab organizations. Work with the IWSS market segment S&BD, E&T, and PM teams to identify critical gaps in the technology and product roadmaps required to meet future customer requirements. Collaborate with USG labs, R&D organizations, and Program Offices to identify, pursue, and win CRAD opportunities. Work with IWSS Market Segments and cross Business Area partners to shape CRAD projects towards system prototypes and successfully transition capabilities to Programs of Record (POR).

Lead sensor, combat system, launcher, and effector integration and prototype efforts. Potential effectors include Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM), Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM), Joint Air-to-Surface Missile (JASSM), Multiple Launch Rocket System Family of Munitions (MFOM) missiles, and next-generation effectors. Collaborate with DOD labs (ONR, SCO, AFRL, etc.) and FFRDCs to mature low TRL technologies and transition into PORs.

Build and maintain trusting and productive relationships with customers, influencers and key opinion leaders – across the services, PEOs and labs. Develop strategic business intelligence including customers, competitors, and industry partners.

Support the IWSS Advanced Concepts Director in managing NBF allocations and budgets, tracking opportunities across all stages of capture, and train the AC team in Strategy and Business Development skill sets. Interface regularly across the LM enterprise to achieve business goals and promote a “One LM” approach to market – including but not limited to other RMS Lines of Business, other LM Business Areas, LM Government Affairs (LMGA), and the Corporate Engineering and Technology Office (CETO).
Basic Qualifications:
• Proven ability to capture CRAD and transition technologies into Programs of Record
• Experience supporting customer engagement, decision mapping, competitive intelligence, and customer assessments.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in business development with the ability to train small high performing teams in S&BD fundamentals.
• Extensive understanding of Lockheed Martin’s win plan, capture, and business development
practices. Experience leading competitive pursuits.
• Direct experience with DoD customers and labs, specifically sensing oriented and nontraditional organizations.
• Proven ability to think outside of the box, develop strategy, and implement successful capture plans
• Demonstrated experience organizing and presenting data to senior/executive management. Communications skills in Power Point, Written media, and verbal presentations.
• Experience in leveraging stakeholder functional organizations: Program Management, Engineering, Sustainment Operations, Contracts, Business Ventures/Offset, and Legal
• Ability to receive a TS/SCI Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree in engineering or business
• Established relationship with DoD labs and key transition organizations
• Leadership and personnel management experience in a CRAD organization
• Experience with Lockheed Martin effectors (PAC-3 MSE, PrSM, LRASM, JASSM, JAGM)
• Experience with Aegis and Integrated Combat System missile integration
• Experience interfacing with and briefing senior industry and customer executives
• Experience with TS/SCI and Special Access Programs

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
