Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking a full-time Early Career Electrical (Power) Engineer to join the RF Front-End and Power Design Center in support of Sensor and Effector hardware products. As an early career engineer, you will join teams engaged in design, development, analysis, integration & test, verification, production support, and field support for power subsystems from generator to point of load, in support of advanced sensor hardware products. You will contribute to a wide variety of projects and products, including AC/DC converters, DC/DC converters, high power density converters, low noise switching power supplies, linear regulators, printed circuit board design, cable design, component selection, and analog circuits. Your contributions will include the including the support of technical data packages, design reviews, supplier engagement, and lab & test facility activities. This work will include teaming with other engineers in various disciplines to develop best-in-class products and solutions. Your career growth will be supported by a wide variety of projects as our business needs evolve. The ability to take responsibility for increasingly difficult tasks, complete them on schedule, while documenting and presenting results is expected.
The successful candidate will have experience with or knowledge of Power Subsystem or Power Electronics Engineering, which may include:

- Analog and power supply circuit design
- Test equipment hardware (Oscilloscopes, LCR meter, insulation resistance, etc.) and associated software.
- LT Spice, PSpice, PSIM or equivalent circuit simulation tool
- Power System Simulation and Modeling
- AC/DC and DC/DC Converter Design Experience
- Familiar with EMC and Electrical Safety Standards.
- Experience with Power filter/power quality/EMI
- Harmonic distortion, ripple, noise performance
- Circuit design, component layout, board layout and schematics.
- Experience with hardware design for Electro Magnetic Interference / Compatibility (EMI/EMC) and requirements/procedures of MIL-STD-461, 464 and DO-160 testing standards
- Knowledge of EM theory to apply design techniques and design features to control electromagnetic (EM) emissions (intentional and unintentional) and susceptibilities

Basic Qualifications:
• A BS degree from an accredited college or university in electrical engineering and a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 is required for our entry level positions.
• Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance (must be a US citizen to qualify for this position)
Desired Skills:
A desired candidate will have familiarity and experience in one or more of the following domains:

Electrical (Power) Engineering:

• Demonstrated ability in analog and power supply circuit design
• Experience with test equipment hardware (Oscilloscopes, LCR meter, insulation resistance, etc.) and associated software.
• Experience with LT Spice, PSpice, PSIM or equivalent circuit simulation tool
• Power System Simulation and Modeling
