Description:Join Rotary and Mission Systems as our Content & Channel Strategy Manager for an opportunity to build, manage and mentor an innovative, high performing content team. You’ll help ensure RMS is executing data-informed content strategies that support our brand objectives across external and employee channels. We’re looking for a Chief Dot Connector who knows how to cut through the clutter and move audiences to action!

Your experience will include:

• Content Strategy: Lead a team of direct and matrixed reports to connect content supporting line of business capture and growth campaigns with content supporting employee attraction and retention objectives. Lead regular discussions with line of business and functional partners to ensure the team is delivering data-informed insights for efficiency in content production and publication. Support alignment of RMS content production with Enterprise Operations initiatives.

• Content Production: Serve as producer for content marketing packages that advance thought leadership associated with emerging technologies and the RMS value proposition. Write and approve project briefs, ensuring an effective hand-off to the RMS content marketing creative director and/or external agency partners while remaining available to help keep production on-strategy and on-schedule. Advance development of white papers and case studies in partnership with RMS Engineering and Strategy & Business Development functions.

• Integrated Editorial Calendar Management: Drive day-to-day use of RMS’ integrated editorial calendar, AirTable. Provide content publication schedule and forecast to leadership and Visual Communications partners. Deliver on real-time content marketing opportunities in partnership with the Global Media & Digital Communications Team.

• Insights & Optimization: Partner with RMS’ data & insights lead to ensure teams are measuring and monitoring all content performance. Ensure that insights are understood and utilized in recommending approaches that capitalize on market opportunities and trends. Contribute inputs to executive briefings and inform future investment in communications campaigns and technology platforms.

The selected candidate may work from our Moorestown, N.J. offices or virtually.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Journalism, Communications or Public Relations
• At least 8-10 years of experience in communications with proven experience leading diverse teams
• Able to align multiple activities and individuals around a common narrative and vision
• Comfortable operating in a matrixed organization and able to develop relationships with a wide array of partners in content development, production, publication and measurement,
• Self-motivated, able to work well under deadline and adapt to evolving circumstances
• Skilled writer, creative thinker and confident presenter
• Demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
Desired Skills:
• Experience with web content management systems, social media publishing platforms and accompanying analytics programs
• Able to work with teams distributed across time zones and cultures
• Tech savvy and willing to pilot new tools for workflow, editorial and asset management
• Understands how to connect content across paid, earned and owned channels
