At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), our Maritime Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) team is delivering next-generation capability to protect naval assets and support fleet defense. We’re advancing the Integrated Combat System (ICS) under the Baseline 9.C3.X program—bringing critical technology directly to the U.S. Navy’s Destroyer fleet. Our work is high-stakes, fast-paced, and deeply collaborative.
THE WORK
As a Program Manager within the Maritime IAMD sub-market segment, you will lead the execution of the Baseline 9.C3.X ICS programs. You’ll manage all aspects of program performance—cost, schedule, and technical delivery—while working with stakeholders across Lockheed Martin and directly with our Navy and MDA customers.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading end-to-end execution of the ICS programs supporting the U.S. Navy’s Destroyers
• Serving as the primary internal and external point of contact for all Baseline 9.C3.X-related activities
• Building strong partnerships with PEO IWS and MDA to ensure mission alignment and program success
• Coordinating across multiple Lockheed Martin sites and functional teams
• Reporting progress, risks, and opportunities to senior RMS leadership
• Driving future program growth through strategic planning, proposal development, and new business pursuits

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years of program management experience.
• Customer interface experience
• Experience with earned value management and risk management
• Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
• Experience in proposal management process
• Knowledge of LM RMS’s program and financial measurements (orders, sales, EBIT and cash)
• Knowledge of DoD contract types (CPFF, CPIF, etc.)
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate / manage multiple contracts simultaneously
• Cross functional team management
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Demonstrated self-starter who can take initiative and work independently with minimal direction and oversight
• Ability to travel to domestically to key suppliers and customer locations as required
Desired Skills:
• Experience with USN customer set (PEO IWS, MDA, N96, NWSC DD)
• Knowledge and/or experience with combat system program requirements (Aegis, SSDS)
• Experience with software development
• Data-driven management philosophy with objective of establishing measures to hold the program as a unit of action accountable to achieving continuous improvement
• Experience in driving positive changes to meet program milestones and deliverables and supporting innovation and continuous improvement
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
