Description:For the candidate seeking an entry level position in the Defense or Aerospace Industry, this position might be for you. Start your Contracts career within the Finance and Business Operations discipline for Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems business located in Marion MA near Cape Cod and South of Boston. This position is part of a Contracts team that supports multiple programs, products and customer sets with variety of contracts types and ranges in value. This contracts negotiator associate position is responsible for contract support in a high volume production setting and manages commercial, DoD and other government contractual agreements.
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills to include verbal, written, presentation and public speaking.

Attention to detail in all forms of communication and interaction.

Organizational skills to include work products and time management.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments to support a dynamic paced environment.

Aptitude for learning, researching and reading to understand.

Computer savvy and ability to use standard Microsoft Programs: WORD, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Ability to obtain a secret clearance (Must be a US citizen)

This position is a first step in a Contract Negotiator career path. In addition to the Basic Qualifications, the ideal candidate will be professional, articulate and willing to take on stretch assignments and functional tasking as required.

The successful candidate will work cohesively in a team environment comprised of multi-cultural and generational teammates as well as interface with internal and external customers, domestic and international.

Preferred and applicable degrees include Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, and Finance disciplines.
