Description:Place and manage low to medium level complexity purchase orders and subcontracts with general supervision. Work closely with Program office, Operations, Planning, Finance, Tech Ops, and site sourcing lead to ensure program requirements are satisfied. May require extended work hours as needed to satisfy program needs. Perform other related duties and assignments as required
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills enabling the candidate to operate in a fast paced, high volume environment. Demonstrated ability to drive supplier performance and accountability. General knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and/or Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAPs). The ability to multi-task. Functional knowledge of Microsoft products including MS Word and Excel.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of FARS/DFARS and LMAPs. Experience and working knowledge of continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen and Structured Improvement Activities. The ability to understand and interpret low to medium complexity hardware drawings. Experience in negotiating supplier terms and conditions. Experience in support of proposal activities for both commercial and military customers.
