Configuration and Logistics Analyst / Marinette

Description:Candidate will be required to support multiple programs to include: Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) New Construction and Sustainment, Aegis Ashore Lifecycle and Acquisition, Integrated Tactical Trainer, and the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC), Saudi new construction program. As a Senior Configuration Management Analyst it is expected that you have knowledge of Navy Configuration Management (CM), Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) and Logistics processes and disciplines. Specific job duties include:
• Establishing the ship of sites Configuration Baseline within CDMD-OA.
• Review as-built, wiring, installation, system, production and vendor drawings to verify and update configuration data.
• Review and verify provisioning data to ensure accuracy and applicability.
• Perform data analysis to assist with sparing and configuration projects.
• Report metrics and progress of work assignments.
• Perform physical configuration audits aboard production ships or shore facilities which will require travel. In some cases the candidate may be required to travel for extended periods of time within country or abroad.
• Review and execute data modifications in accordance with approved Class I and Class II changes.
• Participate in technical meetings as applicable, providing input to or preparing briefing presentations.
• Generate or update internal operating procedures.
• Produce trip or validation reports.
• Participate in the NAVSEA CDM Assessment and Certification event.
The candidate must have experience or familiarity with combat or mechanical systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Must be a problem solver and be able to work independently. Proficient using all Micro Soft Professional and AutoCAD viewer software.
Knowledge of the Navy Supply system and tools. Provisioning expertise and Hardware configuration management skills required.
Must be willing and able to travel to conduct shipboard validations.
Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with subcontractors, military and civilian personnel.
Desired Skills:
Experience using CDMD-OA and NDE.
Familiarity with Navy Modernization Program and RMMCO requirements. Technical experience with shipboard systems either through operating, testing, installing, or maintaining these systems. It is highly desirable if the candidate has experience with marine engineering and propulsion systems.
