Configuration and Integrated Logistics Analyst/ Marinette

Description:Candidate will support the Litoral Combat Ship (LCS) and Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) Acquisition programs primarily but will support other programs as required. Specific duties entail managing the ships hardware configuration in CDMD-OA. Candidate must be able to review class I and class II Change Forms to determine impact to the Ship's Configuration baseline and execute the change impact in the CDMD-OA database. Candidate will identify and maintain configuration data for specific systems through the use of installation and system drawings. It is expected that this individual has a firm grasp of CM and Logistics processes and requirements. In addition, be familiar with ship construction programs, modernization and sustainment policy as it relates to both USN and FMS programs. This candidate will be required to write and or update internal operating procedures, train and mentor less experienced analysts, and conduct shipboard validations. In addition, candidate must be customer focused and be able to articulate the status of CDM projects to the PEO USC Customers during technical meetings. Candidate must be team oriented but capable of working independently and be highly motivated. Extensive travel and TDY assignments are expected to conduct validations if primary work location is outside of Marinette Wisconsin,
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of Configuration Data Management (CDM)/Configuration Data Manager's Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) experience working with a certified CDM or ISEA activity. Knowledge of the Navy supply chain and tools. Familiar with the Navy Modernization process and tools. Excellent computer software skills necessary to perform job to include (MS Office Professional, Autodesk Drawing Review, Sharepoints, PowerPoint or Visio. Must be physically able to work in industrial environments on board Navy vessels to perform shipboard validations.
Desired Skills:
Prior Navy with shipboard experience is a plus. Hardware and software configuration management experience on any large scale production contract. Working knowledge of any Shipboard systems to include electronics, ordnance and Hull, Mechanical and Electrical systems. Knowledge of the Navy supply system and configuration management tools.
