Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Description:∙Create pre-plans from engineering releases, program letters and manufacturing changes to support the procurement, manufacture and installation of aircraft components.
∙ Provide technical assistance for a group of hourly planners involved in analyzing engineering requirements and development/initiation of documentation required for fabrication, purchase, assembly, installation of aircraft components and tooling to support AMMM production and flight line liaison activity.
∙ Requires direct interaction with production/flight line leadership and other organizations regarding planning related issues and concerns.
∙Coordinate appropriate planning releases for arriving F-22 aircraft as well as review and process MDRs for F-22 Speedline
∙ Respond to requests from global sustainment for planning to support spares, modifications, repair, overhaul, warranty claims and the engineering labs.
∙ Monitor REA and QAD’s queues and prioritize work assignments to planning group.
Basic Qualifications:
∙Ability to read engineering blueprints and tool designs
∙ Manufacturing Planner experience including working knowledge of Planning procedures and preparation / maintenance of planning documents.
∙ Experience with heavy modification, maintenance and installation on completed aircraft.
∙ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures and demonstrated ability to utilize the same in the preparation of all work authorizing documents.
∙Must have working knowledge of BOM structure.
∙Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills:
∙Well-rounded knowledge of AMMM aircraft structures and systems.
∙Experience with C-130 aircraft, F-22 a plus.
∙Demonstrated leadership skills - leading a multi-tasking workforce.
∙Working knowledge of SAP, QADS, AP2, CAPP and SFM. Working knowledge of Maximo a plus.
∙Working knowledge of Global Sustainment process for processing Customer Repair Orders (CROs).
∙Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
∙Strong sense of urgency
∙Written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with flight line leadership, technical support team, build team, and internal and external customers.
∙Ability to read engineering blueprints and tool designs.
