What You Will Be Doing
As a Provisioning Analyst Senior – Level 3, you will support Canada and Developmental Provisioning contracts for the C-130J aircraft by developing and maintaining spare parts models to optimize inventory levels and meet performance goals. You will leverage sustainment modeling tools and statistical analysis to evaluate technical data, field reports, and usage trends. Your work will directly impact mission readiness by determining accurate stocking levels, reorder points, and spare part recommendations. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, item managers, and cataloging teams to ensure timely and accurate provisioning support. You will also maintain provisioning documentation, support engineering changes, and ensure configuration alignment across systems. Performance-based logistics and “what-if” scenario modeling are key components of this position. Your expertise will help drive supply chain efficiency and contribute to the overall success of sustainment operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Use statistical analysis and sustainment modeling tools to determine stocking levels, reorder points, and spares recommendations.
- Analyze technical and maintenance data to forecast demand, failure rates, and spares consumption in support of C-130J sustainment contracts.
- Perform “what-if” modeling and cost-performance trade studies under Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) environments.
- Maintain provisioning data and documentation in Logistics Support databases, including part configurations and application data.
- Provide technical support for initial and follow-on provisioning to identify and validate spares requirements
- Review and input engineering changes and updates related to parts provisioning and cataloging.
- Assist in developing and improving provisioning processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
- Coordinate with supply item managers to support spares identification and application.
- Provide projections and reports for annual demand planning and failure rates.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree OR 4 year experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
- Experience collecting and compiling datasets from disparate data sources and performing analysis using mathematical and statistical techniques (i.e. Tableau, Excel)
- Experience interpreting aircraft engineering specifications and/or drawings
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Systems and Logistics Integration Capability (SLICWave) Logistics Support Analysis Toolset
- Familiarity with SAP and Sustainment Inventory Management Systems
- Experience problem solving and able to handle multiple tasks
- Some knowledge and experience with aircraft maintenance (C-130 or C-5 aircraft a plus)
- Some experience with sustainment modeling, simulation and analysis
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience importing and manipulating data using Excel

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
