Job Responsibilities
Description:The C-130 Global Production Program Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of select International C-130 Programs. This position will be responsible for managing the Program(s) technical, schedule and cost performance. The Program Manager will also be the primary customer interface for Lockheed Martin.
In addition, this candidate will be responsible for identifying risks, providing mitigation plans, and collecting and analyzing program metrics (EV, Engineering Development, Quality, Production, etc.). The Program Manager will lead all phases of defined programmatic responsibilities, from inception and baseline establishment, through completion including coordinating across all program disciplines to ensure the program meets all internal and customer commitments and objectives.
The selected applicant will prepare for, participate in, and present at Program Management Reviews, Program Status Reviews and Programmatic Milestone Reviews. The Program Manager may support proposal / ECP development, participate in negotiation of contracts, contract changes, and financial terms/conditions. The Program Manager will establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and implement solutions.
This position will report to the C-130 Global Production Senior Program Manager.
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated track record of planning and driving program execution for complex development activities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to meet quality, schedule, and cost commitments
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior company leadership and external customers at all levels
- Experience with proposal development including customer changes (e.g. ECPs)
- Strong business acumen, which strong focus on Earned Value Management and other financial measures
Desired Skills:
- Program management experience – leading teams, developing strategies and plans, managing resources, and executing to meet objectives
- International business experience, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs
- Strong fixed wing military aircraft knowledge and comparable aviation experiences
- Experience managing large scale production programs that may required parallel development
- Strong risk management and problem solving skills, with experience in root cause/corrective action
- An active or ability to maintain a SECRET clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
