Operations Engineer Intern

Description:This intern will be supporting the Operations Engineering team in Fort Worth. Responsibilities will include partnering with full time OE to help drive continuous process improvement in a build area, and collaborating with all key stakeholders (especially the mechanics) to implement process improvements that positively impact key business results.

The Production Operations Intern Program is intended to develop individuals capable of becoming productive members of a technical/engineering team within the Operations disciplines. Disciplines such as Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Material Operations, Manufacturing Operations, Facilities Operations/Engineering. Selected candidates will participate in training opportunities in communication skills and professional development. Candidates for this position are selected while actively pursuing an Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations Management related bachelor’s degree and assessed by management as possessing requisite skills and abilities for development.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in U.S. as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree.

Change Management

Strong communication and problem solving skills. The ability to work autonomously when provided work instructions.

Knowledge of formal problem solving methodologies, and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Desire to actively participate and support in production floor operations
