This position is in support of the Lockheed Martin Network and IT Team based in Marietta, Georgia. As an operations team member in the Classified organization, this position successfully applies technology to meet service commitments for our primary clients; Lockheed Martin (LM) Aeronautics Business Area (BA) and the Enterprise Information Technology organization. Specifically, the candidate will support Lockheed Martin Aeronautics ADP Classified Programs, Collateral Areas and F22/F35 classified network infrastructure & operations as well as serve as a Network Engineer Sr Stf providing operational, sustainment, and remediation activities to meet customer requirements, regulations and compliance directives.

The individual selected for this role will administer and maintain a complex suite of classified network hardware and software across an enterprise network environment, with a focus on Software Defined Networking and related automation. They will be responsible for supporting routine updates, major upgrades, and on-going maintenance and support of the network switches, LAN routers, Taclanes and Firewalls. The position requires advanced experience in network engineering, network operations, network performance tools/analysis, project management, and systems integration. Leveraging technical depth and strong inter-personal communication skills, this individual will explain procedures and concepts to others both in writing and verbally.
All work must be performed on-site, including some off-shift hours, weekends, On-call rotation and occasional travel. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
US DoD Secret Security Clearance required prior to starting this position
- Current/Active CompTIA Security+ Certification (or other DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification); Ability to lift 30 lbs
- CCNA, CCNP or CCIE Certification
- 3+ years of experience implementing, troubleshooting, and automating Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Solutions, including knowledge of spine & leaf architecture in either ACI and/or Nexus Dashboard/VxLAN Fabric deployments
- 7+ years of overall networking experience LAN/WAN, including Network Performance Monitoring, Network design and implementation, Network Automation
- Experience implementing and managing Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
- Knowledge of IP network/subnet addressing, routing protocols such as BGP / OSPF
- Experience with setting up TACLANES
- Experience creating network diagrams (Visio preferred) and providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture, network monitoring and trouble-shooting.
- Have Excellent communications skills and excellent attitude
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) Requirements and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Implementation and Management
- Experience with Juniper & Palo Alto Firewalls; TACLANE or other Type 1 Encryptors
- Experience with various H.323 type technologies such as VOIP, VTC, Gatekeepers/Call Manager
- Experience Implementing VOIP solutions
- Working knowledge of Linux distributions
- Scripting PowerShell/Python

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
