Manufacturing Engineer Senior

Description:This position is for the AMMM Liaison Planning Group Lead.
Must be willing to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced production support environment.
This position will provide technical guidance and support for hourly planners.
This position will create pre-plans from engineering releases, program letters and manufacturing changes to support the procurement, manufacture and installation of aircraft components.
Review Temporary Deviation Authorities and analyze for planning implementation.
Requires direct interaction with production line leadership and other support organizations regarding planning related issues and concerns.
Monitor REA and QAD’s queues and prioritize work assignments to planning group.
This person will be considered a SME for systems that planning interfaces.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience reading/interpreting LM engineering blueprints, specifications and tool designs.
-Manufacturing Tool Planner experience including working knowledge of Planning procedures and preparation / maintenance of planning documents.
-Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures and demonstrated ability to utilize the same in the preparation of all work authorizing documents.
-Experience with BOM structure.
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills:
Completed Tool Planner Trainee 10 week course and OJT through to Tool Planner upgrade.
Well-rounded knowledge of AMMM aircraft structures and systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills - leading a multi-tasking workforce.
Working knowledge of SAP, QADS, AP2, CAPP and SFM. Working knowledge of Maximo a plus.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with production line leadership, technical support team, build team, and internal and external customers.
