This position is for a Senior Staff Cyber Architect on the Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) Cyber Architecture & Design team, directly supporting the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Line of Business. The candidate for this position will be self-motivated with the ability to provide advanced engineering support related to assessing the cyber resiliency of existing system architectures, guiding the development of new system architecture modernizations/enhancements, and supporting proposal/new business captures.

This candidate will define approaches, improve the security of the platform by fully integrating throughout the system development lifecycle and represent CSE as the primary liaison to the System Engineering and Architecture community across various programs/contracts. This candidate will ensure that Cyber requirements are thoroughly addressed, decomposed, incorporated into early system architectures, matured through the design lifecycle, and verified in order to drive resiliency into an advanced avionics platform.

The optimal candidate for this role has deep platform knowledge and a breadth of experience integrating with engineering teams to execute direct contract scope for advanced Aero platforms/weapon systems. Additionally, the ability to innovate security solutions and guide the evaluation of new technologies for integration into new capability designs is expected.

Additional Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Articulating the impacts of emerging security requirements on new or existing designs.
• Communicating technical solutions across stakeholders (engineering, PM, cyber, USG, services, partners, etc.).
• Drive common solutions, patterns, and reuse at all system levels.
• Teach new technologies and methodologies (mentorship, knowledge continuity, etc.).

Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a secret clearance updated within the last 5 years to be considered.

A level 5 employee typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
• Deep knowledge of embedded avionics systems/subsystems (AMMM platform preferred).
• Proficient understanding of the system development lifecycle for embedded avionics platforms.
• Experience leading integration across dynamic contractual efforts for major DoD acquisition programs.
• Experience with embedded System Architecture, Systems Engineering and Software Development.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor Degree in a STEM or Business-related discipline.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or Business-related discipline.
• Experience driving transformational growth and creating innovation strategies.
• Knowledge of Program and Company Command Media.
• Experience tracking/managing project deliveries to closure.
• Experience representing organizations at external forums, academia, and conferences.
• Ability to effectively communicate at any level of management.
• Ability to travel occasionally for direct program support.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
