Description:Position on the Marietta Air Mobility and Maritime Missions Business Development team.

Selected candidate will build and execute campaign strategy plans for all mobility customers to include all USG and commercial customers.

Identifies markets and determines the feasibility of product development, performs economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and coordinates with Research, Marketing and Production departments in establishing and monitoring business development projects.

Coordinates with the marketing and sales department in the promotion of new or improved products.

The selected candidate will work with potential customers to determine their needs and develop solutions.

Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.

Works with Advanced Development Programs to identify gaps in customer requirements and recommend technical solutions.

The employee must have the ability to be viewed as an expert in mobility operations within the corporation.

This position is responsible for developing solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation.

Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions.

Works under consultative direction toward long range goals and objectives.

Will have regular interface with key USG and/or commercial customers, will present product briefings and author white papers that facilitate market acceptance of LM Aero products and services.

MUST BE A US CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or above with a minimum 10 years’ experience working in air mobility/air transport related activities (requirements, acquisition/mission execution/sustainment, commercial aviation).
Desired Skills:
Master’s degree/related field

Experience as a pilot/navigator a plus.

C-130J experience a plus.

Pentagon experience a plus.

Commercial aircraft sales a plus.

Requires demonstrated interpersonal skills with prior experience working across the entire customer spectrum from junior to senior executives, members of Congress and their staffs.

Strong communication/presentation skills (speaking, writing, and listening) are essential.

Presentation development mastery using such tools as PowerPoint or Prezi highly desired.
