As a Signal/Image Processing Systems Engineer, you will apply your signal and image processing skills as well as MATLAB skills and Electrical Engineering domain knowledge to work/support Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) programs in Manassas, Virginia.

Use your knowledge of the full product life-cycle including Integration and Test as well as requirements development and management, Systems Engineering planning and product development such as system and subsystem specification generation, modeling and simulation, algorithm development, trade study implementation and support to proposals as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
-Demonstrated Systems Engineering (SE) experience with knowledge of SE life-cycle and products associated with life-cycle phases
-MATLAB modeling and simulation skills to develop, evaluate, improve image/signal processing algorithms
-Ability to support Software and I&T with implementation of image processing algorithms
-Strong communication skills with the ability to work with the team, across contractor boundaries, and across disciplines (HW, SW, I&T and Logistics)
-Ability to work within a team and lead a team
-Ability to support architecture development to reduce integration efforts of others integrating algorithms
-Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Desired Skills:
-Image Processing with the ability to research, evaluate, develop and lead the implementation of new algorithms
-Working knowledge of Matlab with ability to help debug C++, Python, CUDA, and OpenCV implementations
-Detail-oriented with ability to define, coordinate, control interface boundaries of processing
-Ability to lead and mentor junior members across the full SE domain
-Knowledge of command and control systems
-Knowledge of advanced processing techniques (big data analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence) and means to enable them (cloud computing, GPUs, etc)
-Knowledge of submarine systems and environments
-Current DoD Secret clearance
