Description:The Publications Coordinator trains and works with other experienced publishers to support Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) proposal and program needs for high quality documentation, from start to completed product. Supports the development of proposals and other technical documents and follows established processes and guidelines. Establishes templates, formats and maintains documents, and checks author’s input for spelling and consistency.
Basic Qualifications:
Utilizing desktop publishing software, formats, produces, and/or revises complex publication materials such as technical articles, proposals, publications, books, manuals, reports, and marketing materials. May determine project requirements and presents drafts of finished product to user. Ensures high quality output and compatibility of product with follow-on reproduction processes. Prepares layouts for graphic design. Prepares documents for reviews and deliveries in accordance with appropriate standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout.
Desired Skills:
. Active TS/SCI Clearance required
. Ability to work quickly and accurately,
. Good interpersonal and organizational skills, and must be
able to work well in a team environment.
. Keen attention to detail and experience formatting large
documents is essential.
. Ability to set effective priorities and meet deadlines
under tight time constraints is a must.
. Experience in MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
. Familiarity with graphics applications and SharePoint
. Experience in publications processes and standards
. Experience producing large, complex documents through
production and reproduction
. Ability and willingness to work extended hours when
. Ability and willingness to travel to remote locations when
required in support of mission
