Description:Perform all facility HVAC operations and support functions. Installs, services, modifications, rebuilds, and repairs building systems and equipment in an industrial or commercial establishment in accordance with applicable building codes, safety, and EPA 608 regulations.

Including but not limited to, cleaning, maintaining and troubleshoot large capacity building HVAC systems including roof top equipment, air handlers, exhaust fans, fan coil units, DX coil units, cafeteria equipment, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, other HVAC related equipment.

Steam generator operation and maintenance.

Environmental Chamber operation and maintenance.

Perform brazing/soldering, electronic and pneumatic control calibration, control wiring installation and preventive / predictive maintenance.

Operate computerized site Building Management System / Web Control, respond to alarms & become familiar with site building layouts & systems.

Maintain accurate computerized documentation and data collection.

Be proficient in the assembly, fabrication, and insulation of duck work.

Utilize proper personal protective equipment in the performance of duties.

Basic Qualifications:
2 years HVAC trade school or equivalent certification.
High school degree or equivalency.

Must have at least 5 years’ experience with Heating, Ventilation and Cooling (HVAC).

Must have EPA 608 CFC Universal certification.

Candidates must have either an Active Secret Clearance (which is preferred) OR candidate previously held a Secret Clearance.

Candidate must be able to use hand and power tools including the proficient uses of torches, refrigeration gauges and multimeter.

Have and maintain a valid diver license.

Must be able to record, review and can interpret equipment & systems readings.

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Able to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and controls issues.

Knowledge of Building Management Systems and computerized alarm & control systems.

Good general computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel).

Excellent oral & written communication skills.

Self-motivated, dependable, maintains a positive attitude, and willing to be a responsible & dedicated team Player.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as with minimal supervision.

Ability to work from a variety of aerial lift platforms and ladders.

Candidate must be able to lift 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
