THE WORK
The Vice President of the Undersea Missions Systems (UMS) Market Segment is seeking an Executive Assistant who will ensure the successful completion of daily administrative tasks. The incumbent will interface with cross functional executives, senior management, and administrative staff at all levels and will act as an ambassador for the Vice President and the organization. The successful candidate should have a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a high volume of calendar appointments, travel arrangements, and expense reporting for primarily domestic travel and occasional international travel.
• Exercise discretion when responding to email and in person requests and tasks.
• Assist in preparing briefing materials; set up and support a variety of meetings, including large group employee meetings.
• Track administrative details on all projects, providing status updates on delegated tasks to ensure progress toward deadlines.
• Field inquiries efficiently to maximize the leader’s time; screen visitors to control interruptions and have oversight over the Vice President’s schedule.
• Provide meeting backup data as needed and arrange all required amenities.

Basic Qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency with Teams and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel); able to compose correspondence and create presentations.
• Extensive executive level experience demonstrating leadership qualities.
• Proven ability to manage executive calendars, arrange meetings, and interact with team members at all levels.
• Significant experience arranging domestic and international travel and reconciling expense reports using Concur, including corporate travel card reconciliation.
• Ability to perform special assignments supporting programs, executive staff, and the administrative organization.
• Ability to coordinate complex travel arrangements and reconcile expense reports (domestic and international); Concur experience is a plus.
• Outstanding judgment, dependability, and the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal skills—both oral and written—and the ability to work effectively with internal and external management and administrative staff.
• Demonstrated executive presence through professional presentation and support of a highly professional environment.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint and internet research techniques.
• Flexibility to support intermittent extended work hours when needed; ability to work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision.
• Self motivated to handle or delegate initiatives in the leader’s absence.
• Strong multi tasking ability; consistently completes assignments accurately and on time.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
