Job Responsibilities
Description:PTC Simulator Technician Manager – Management and Oversight of: Pilot Simulator Technicians and the Facility Maintenance Technician. Requires some weekend on-site requirements to assist with maintenance and operations that are unable to be conducted during normal work hours due to Training Requirements. Additionally, this position serves as a fully qualified Sim Tech and also the Simulator Technician Lead providing oversight of up to 24 Training Device technicians. Oversees two shift operations supporting 12 Pilot Training Devices for 14 hours of operation/day and an additional 4 hours of Preventative Maintenance/day. Oversees logistic support of the Luke AFB PTC Full Mission Simulators.
Travel to support Enterprise training sites Conus and OConus to help meeting contracted training requirements when needed (generally <25%).
Work flexible schedule to align to customer operational needs.
• Oversees two shift operations supporting 12 Pilot Training Devices 14 hours of operation/day and an additional 4 hours of Preventative Maintenance/day. In addition, provides direct support for Modification Kit Installation and Joint Program Office/Service Simulator Evaluation events.
• Logistic support of the Luke AFB Full Mission Simulators, Shipping and Receiving activities, and incoming material for FMS Spares Equipment.
• Oversees facility operations conducting, coordinating, and supporting government maintenance on Facility Systems and responding to PTC Trouble Calls.
Basic Qualifications:
- Possess a current Final Secret security clearance with a re-investigation within the last 6 years
- Possess a current Security + certification or capable of acquiring within 3 months from hire date as a condition of employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a F-35 Program Special Access
- 4 year degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience / combined education
- 8 years electronic / avionics related field
- 8 years professional experience in management of Operations and Maintenance of training/simulation devices or related field
- Excellent leadership abilities guiding and managing subordinate employees
- Strategic thinker and planner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal, team-building skills, strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Demonstrated ability to manage statistical data for presentations and reports
- Candidate must have the ability to interact effectively and build effective relationships with customers
Desired Skills:
Experience with F-35 aviation simulator training operations. Experience with military training operations. Experience working in a classified/access-controlled facility. Familiar with network security processes and certifications. Network troubleshooting and maintenance experience including switches, DHCP, VLAN, VHD and associated maintenance. Familiarity with F35 Training System architecture, implementation, and operations. Experience as a technical manager.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
