The Challenge:
Crave a challenge that is also rewarding? This is an
operational support role to an active fighter unit; you
will be responsible for the security and integrity of our
systems that keep our jets flying.
It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and
engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the
world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the
Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that
gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan, to
maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life
of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and
capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.

As an ALIS Network Administrator, you will perform
software and hardware management on the ALIS
internal networks and devices network, which includes
controlling, planning, allocating, deploying,
coordinating, and monitoring the resources of the ALIS
networks. You will also coordinate with local base
agencies as necessary to facilitate the integration of
ALIS nodes with base network infrastructure. Network
administration tasks may include: network planning,
predetermined traffic routing to support load
balancing, configuration management (CM), fault
management, security management, and performance
management.
As critical members of the F35 Operations Team all
ALIS Network Administrators must be able to:
• Obtain and maintain Special Access Program
clearance required for program access
• Be willing and able to travel for military
deployments/detachments (ship and/or shore) for
extended periods dependent upon operational needs.
• Capable of working various shift hours to include
weekends to support customer mission requirements

work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, work
rotating shifts, and work in excess of 40 hours per
week
Basic Qualifications:
• Active In Scope DOD Secret Clearance with
investigation within last 6 years
• Network administrator experience with experience in
Layer 2 and 3 Networking
• Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II
certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
Desired Skills:
In addition to the basic requirements above, the successful candidate may have one or more of the following:
•Current Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security certification
•Certifications in the following Environments: Unix, MS-, NT-, X-Windows, Linux, CCNA
• Demonstrated network administration skills, to include:
• Ability to provide high-level network, systems administration and technology management
• Development of Standard Operating Instruction and other training skills and training material development experience
• Knowledge of spanning technology in switches
• Experience working in military environment
• Ability to be flexible in working with dynamic mission requirements
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS network hardware and software
• Coordinate local base communications and base
