Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Quality Planner for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) in Lufkin, TX, supporting the THAAD Program. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, and we're seeking a motivated and driven Quality Planner to ensure the highest level of quality for our customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Planner, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the inspection of manufactured and procured products meet our high standards. You will work closely with design and production teams to integrate quality into every aspect of our products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and reviewing quality plans, standards, and procedures
- Reviewing and approving documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are fulfilled
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline from an accredited college.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instruction.
Ability to apply decision-making and judgement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective presentation skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
The candidate must be a US citizen with the
ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
5 or more years of professional experience related to requirements review, configuration management, and documentation tracking.
Proficient with various specifications to include IPC specifications, and AS9102.
Prior manufacturing experience with circuit cards, harness assemblies, and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
Familiarity with software such as SAP, and DISCUS.
Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Implementation.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
