Job Responsibilities
Description:We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer Sr to join the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) team and enhance our Supply Chain Quality Assurance efforts. In this role you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the quality framework that governs purchased parts from suppliers, through our manufacturing processes, and ultimately to the customer.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Offering technical guidance and mentorship to Quality Engineers and cross functional teams on the compliance evaluation of purchased materials.
• Creating, reviewing, and approving process documentation related to receiving inspection and Supply Chain Quality procedures.
• Implementing, programming, and maintaining quality focused automation equipment and inspection tooling (e.g., XRF/X ray systems, solderability testers, CMMs, structured light scanners) to meet material analysis requirements and improve the efficiency of purchased material handling.
• Developing and proposing innovative methodologies that streamline Supply Chain Quality processes, align with organizational objectives, and enable earlier detection of non conforming parts before they enter manufacturing.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to optimize work center layouts and material flow, ensuring the Supply Chain Quality area supports both quality controlled operations and upstream/downstream processes efficiently.
• Driving update requests for centrally controlled purchased material requirements within ERP/MES systems to ensure optimal material flow and reliability at production sites.
