Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Lufkin, TX

Description:Candidate will assist in discovering and implementing methods improvements and mistake-proofing projects in support of the manufacture of mil-spec electronics. Candidate must have interest and aptitude in Manufacturing, Process, or Industrial Engineering disiplines. Position involves exposure to automated circuit card assembly and cable / harness fabrication processes, equipment, and control software as well as collaboration and communications supporting manual assembly operation.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or related discipline

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Desired Skills:
Minimum 3.0 GPA

CAD experience

Good communication skills

Should be a quick learner who is able to take day-to-day direction from department manager as well as able to interface with other members of the Production Operations Team.
