Software Configuration Analyst
Description:Lockheed Martin's Next Gen Geo Factory Operations team is looking for a motivated Software Configuration Analyst to augment our Agile Team in support of our Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Infrastructure Factory Product. We are seeking a dynamic engineer to help support these critical efforts, which include technical and SOP development of Operations & Sustainment (O&S) scope, ultimately providing Tier 2/3 troubleshooting and support of the accredited infrastructure, maintaining positive system uptimes and conducting required maintenance.
In this role specifically, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. You will perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable. You will design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.
Further responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Design, implement, execute and maintain build procedures and scripts to support software product development and use.
• Develop software configuration standards and policies for program-wide use.
• Train software developers in the use of configuration management tools, to include implementation of software quality standards.
• Maintain program Software Configuration Management processes including collection or distribution of code documentation, problem report and change request processing, software build documents, and delivery of software products/releases to operational environments/customers.
• Implement long term organizational objectives for software process improvement, compliance with ISO 9000 standards, and software code reuse.
• Interpersonal leadership skills working in a team environment
• Experience in software design and development, including configuration management
• Experience with Linux Systems
• Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven, ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $64,400 - $123,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
