The Edge Processing Center of Excellence (EP COE) is looking for a hardworking and energetic project manager to lead development and project execution for the next generation of digital processors. Digital processors support a multitude of space missions for military, commercial, civil, and special programs customers. Digital processors process data from secure communications, remote sensing, and bus applications. This opportunity is for a Project Engineering leader to support a multi-disciplinary team to design, develop, test and deliver a cutting-edge digital processor utilizing common products, leveraging state-of-the art digital technologies, while adhering to program budget and schedule constraints. Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Project Planning, project management, or as a Project Engineer

• Strong desire to learn and grow as leader within new “go fast” development project

• Experience with phases of product lifecycle (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, and TRR).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multiple projects in parallel (good multi-tasker)
Desired Skills:
• Cost, schedule and project management experience.

• Space digital design and development experience, CAM experience, or analysis for space applications

• Experience in managing research or design projects

• Masters or PhD degree, with emphasis on RF or Communications Engineering

• Experience with proposal development, technical and cost submissions

• Experience leading multi-discipline teams

• Very familiar with use of Microsoft products, including Microsoft Project

• Active TS/SCI Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off

The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
