WHAT WE'RE DOING:
As a PCB Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating, developing, and recommending changes to electrical parts and functional assemblies using CAD tool software. This position offers the flexibility to work both at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site and remotely on a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule.
THE WORK:
Responsibilities-
-Create and develop electrical parts and functional assemblies using appropriate CAD tool software.
-Support the creation of Printed Wiring Board (PWB) documentation, overseeing drawing details performed by others.
-Maintain drawing status of all details and assemblies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project schedules and costs.
-Act as a Drafting Checker as needed, ensuring the quality and accuracy of medium complexity drawings generated by other Drafting personnel.
-Complete additional basic electrical duties as assigned.

-Demonstrated leadership skills.
-Applied knowledge of drafting standards.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of Drafting experience.
- 2-year Technical Degree, AAS Degree in Electrical or Drafting Technologies or apprentice program graduate or equivalent.
- Applied knowledge of IEEE Drafting Standards as well as a general understanding of ASME Drafting Standards.
- PWB Design experience in Placement, Route, and Documentation.
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of Configuration Management
- IPC Certification for PWB Designer a plus
- Cadence, Mentor, Zuken and Altium for PWB placement and routing
- Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of Zuken CR-8000, Cadence, Mentor Board station and Xpedition, Altium

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
The base range for this position in New York is $83,905.81 - $102.842.27.

The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
