Description:This position is within Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) Classified IT Transformation organization. In acknowledgement of this opportunity, the Classified Transformation organization and leadership structure have been put in place, along with significant investment to drive positive changes to both transform and standardize Classified IT delivery.
The candidate will be a System Administrator for a brand-new enterprise WAN solution: DarkStar! The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Windows environments within DarkStar at one of our node locations and will be the primary interface for DarkStar. The selected candidate will closely work with the larger DarkStar system administration and network team to maintain, sustain and keep secure all Windows environments throughout the system. Candidate must be comfortable working in environment supporting a large number of different platforms which range from enterprise servers to small/midsize servers and supercomputers. Candidate will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, software installation, patching and maintenance. Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, ssh, and etc protocols and system network tuning and configuration.
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• DoD SECRET clearance required prior to start with ability to upgrade to TOP SECRET clearance
• Demonstrated experience with configuring and maintaining Windows OS environments (Physical and virtual)
• Experience with Active Directory administration, including building, securing, health checks and troubleshooting
• Experience with implementing standard cybersecurity requirements such as STIGs, or similar compliance system (eg. PCI, HIPAA, SOX)
• Experience with Group Policy Object configuration and administration
• Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or Windows OS image building processes
• Experience with Windows Updates and patching (WSUS). Offline WSUS experience a plus.
• Experience with McAfee and EPO/ENS
• Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation/scripting tool
To be successful, ideally, you should also have:
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 / 8 Administration and Configuration
• Experience deploying physical and virtual Windows and Linux Systems at customer remote sites
• Experience using Certificate Authorities (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure
• Basic network configuration, particularly on Linux and Windows Hosts and Cisco & Juniper routers/firewalls
