You will perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical areas.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Configure test instrumentation and data acquisition for vibration testing of aerospace hardware, ranging from small components to significant subsystems. Tasks will include sensor installation, wire routing, data acquisition patching, handling of calibrated equipment, and post-test equipment recovery, working on and around critical, unique flight hardware and support equipment. Test anomalies will require troubleshooting of measurement issues and participation in root cause findings. You will be responsible for data acquisition operation, standardized post-test processing of vibration signature data, and preliminary analyses of data to assess measurement system health and integrity.
• Be responsible for capture and presentation of high-speed video for dynamic tests to provide crucial test engineering context, qualitative data, and extracted motion data using industry tools and internally developed tools.
• Be an active participant in test coordination and planning activities.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of shaker and vibration control systems, constructing support equipment, troubleshooting equipment anomalies

Weekend work, extended work hours and off-shift availability are frequently required.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience.
• Ability to perform hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and test procedures, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with video processing software.
• Familiarity with diagnostic test equipment (DMM, O-scope, etc.), shaker tables, vibration control systems, dynamic sensors and sensor conditioning, and data acquisition.
• Experience with cable and connector assembly.
• Must be a US Citizen and have the desire and ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly.
Desired Skills:
• Relevant experience with vibration test & measurement – specifically vibration, acoustic & force measurement, vibration spectra & control, and vibration test instrumentation.
• Certification or experience with critical mechanical systems.
• Experience with test instrumentation (accelerometers, microphones, thermocouples, strain gages, force sensors, displacement sensors); understanding of principles of operation and relevant troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with quality processes for test & validation.
• Independent development of custom solutions to integrate new and unique hardware with existing systems.
