We are seeking a Test Instrumentation Technician to perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical areas.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will install test instrumentation and fabricate cable assemblies for the testing of aerospace hardware.
• You will test the range from small components to entire spacecraft.
• You will construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• You will work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• You will conduct tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• You will perform calibration and alignment checks, make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Travel, weekend work, extended work hours and off-shift availability are frequently required.

Top Secret clearance or SCI required to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience.
• Ability to perform hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Familiarity with diagnostic test equipment (DMM, O-scope, etc.).
• Experience with cable and connector assembly.
• Precision soldering experience.
• Must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret or SCI with the willingness and ability complete a Poly
Desired Skills:
• Current Top Secret or SCI with Poly
• Familiarity with structural and environmental test & measurement – specifically load and strain/deflection testing, vibration testing, thermal/vacuum testing.
• Certification or experience with critical mechanical systems.
• Experience with test instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, and strain gages); understanding of principles of operation and relevant troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with quality processes for production.
