You will perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical areas as a Level 2 Technician.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• You will install test instrumentation and fabricate cable assemblies for the testing of aerospace hardware.
• You will test the range from small components to entire spacecraft.
• You will construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• You will work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• You will conduct tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• You will perform calibration and alignment checks, make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.

Travel, weekend work, extended work hours and off-shift availability are frequently required.

Top Secret or SCI required to start.

Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to perform hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of test equipment (DMM, O-scope, etc.).
• Soldering experience.
• Must be a US citizen, will be subject to a government security investigation, and must meet eligibility requirements for an elevated clearance for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
• Current Top Secret or SCI
• Certification or experience with critical mechanical systems.
• Basic mechanical, electrical knowledge and test instrumentation (accelerometers, thermocouples, and strain gages) experience; familiarity with Wheatstone Bridge configuration
• Knowledge of cable and connector assembly or Crimp & Connector Assembly Certification
• J-Standard Solder Operator (Limited) Certification
