As an Systems Integration/Test Engineer in Engineering Labs & Support Services (ELSS), you will be part of the growing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team and provide direct support to the end users of our Special Test Equipment (STE) in the LM Space Electronics Center (SEC) at Waterton. We provide technical support to keep critical test hardware running around the clock, and help troubleshoot a variety of STE issues, while supporting critical programs like GPS III and OPIR.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Mentor and help develop others on the team, lead by example
- Be responsible for assigned STE and keep up with equipment calibration cycles
- Help run hardware checkouts on STE prior to flight testing
- Provide first tier troubleshooting of STE, isolate hardware or software issues, with with STE team on resolutions. Provide assistance to junior engineers on the team as needed
- Provide assistance during flight testing, which may involve modifying code under procedure to debug and isolate issues. Coordinate with STE team engineers as needed to bring experts to the table.
- Work closely with Certified Principle Engineers, Certified Test Conductors, and Quality during flight tests. Make recommendations on path forward while following standard test procedure.
- Work in an Agile development environment with a rhythm of scrums, sprints, and increments. Assist with managing the O&M backlog and working with O&M lead to establish priorities.
- Communicate statuses to O&M lead and work with team members to quickly resolve issues.
- Help our customers with their most critical test needs by providing excellent and timely support
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering with a talent for computer programming or scripting
- Experience developing software using text-based or graphical languages, such as Python, C/C++/C#, Visual Basic, LabVIEW
- Experience with using laboratory test equipment, such as chart recorders, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, digital multimeters
- Familiar with serial communication protocols such as UART, CAN, I2C, SPI, MIL-STD-1553, GPIB, etc.
- Experience in hardware/software integration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking, IP configuration, troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux troubleshooting, upgrades, installation.
- Knowledge of computer HW troubleshooting, repair, and debug.
- Experience in hardware/software integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in a production environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand, and supporting software.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with Marvin Test Solution's ATEasy software development environment
- Embedded software experience using microcontroller or single board computer
- Experience programming FPGAs with VHDL or Verilog or LabVIEW
- Experience performing HW/SW integration of Special Test Equipment for board and box test.
- Familiarity with software development life-cycle: requirements, design, development, integration and test, and maintenance
- Familiarity with software configuration management and agile development tools such as Git/Subversion and JIRA
- Experience with cable and board design and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hardware development life-cycle: requirements, design, development, integration and test, and maintenance.
- Willingness to learn new environments, work independently in a fast-paced production test environment
- Experience presenting and communicating effectively to a broad technical community. Pay Rate:
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $83,800 - $139,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
