Lockheed Martin is looking for a dynamic, hardworking Systems Engineering Sr Manager to support the IHLS Program.

As the Systems Design and Integration Sr Manager, you will:
• Lead the Program's Systems Design and Integration
efforts to include technical direction, planning, and staffing
• Manage Systems Design and Integration resources
for the program, and provide programmatic and proposal support
• Provide guidance to a Systems Engineering team to
include full Systems Engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development through system operations and integration
• Provide oversight and support to critical program
area Engineering skill development
• Utilize your background and functional leadership experience to help deliver on this critical program

As a Systems Design and Integration Sr Manager, your team of System, Mechanical and Electrical Integrators will:
• Establish system architecture and CONOPS, perform
system level design and decomposition into requirements
• Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution
• Lead studies and system trades for enhanced
capabilities
• Perform systems/hardware integration, test planning and execution
• Develop plans to on-ramp new mission capabilities
while protecting the primary mission
• Lead and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews
• Lead failure investigations and anomaly resolution
boards
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with one or more of the following: Avionics, Power,
Software, Structures and Environmental Controls and Life Support (ECLS) subsystems
• Prior experience with Space Flight program
• Demonstrated Program/Project Management and/or leadership skills
• Familiarity with NASA program support
• Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering processes and reviews
• System design and test experience with one or
more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Propulsion, RF, Software, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• 12+ years with spacecraft architecture design,
development, integration, test, with broad based and
in-depth knowledge of space and launch systems at the component through system level
Prior Cost Account Manager (CAM) Experience
• Space segment design, integration and test
experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
• Proven track record of good judgment and
programmatic execution necessary to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations
• Demonstrated ability to assemble and lead multi- disciplined design and integration team to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with
strong presentation skills
• Previous proposal experience
• Demonstrated knowledge in Systems Analysis disciplines of Mission Analysis, Stress, Dynamics, Thermal, Reliability and Survivability
• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking
techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application
