Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a hardworking Systems Design Integration Senior Managerr to become a member of the Overhead Persistence Infrared (OPIR) Systems Engineering Team.

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing design activities across the Next Gen GEO space vehicle. This includes integrating the electrical system across the LM2100 platform, communications subsystem, main mission payload and auxiliary payloads. Particular emphasis is on leading system integration risk and orchestrating early integration activities to address hardware-hardware and hardware-software interfaces. This position will be responsible for handling associated technical budgets and allocations and performing associated systems analysis associated with design integration.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or closely related field
• Systems Engineering process experience across the complete program lifecycle
• Demonstrated application of systems engineering functions including all the following:
a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICD)
c.) System integration, test and/or verification
d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
e.) Major program reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, CIR, TRR, MSCSR, and PSR
• System design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering (e.g., GN&C, Payloads, Propulsion, Software, Mechanical, etc.)
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Design Integration experience with the LM 2100 platform
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
• Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of hardware/software products throughout the full lifecycle of the program
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
• Experience managing system integration risk and orchestrating early integration activities
• Cost Account Management and/or Earned Value Management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small of varying technical knowledge
• Recognized as an authority in systems thinking techniques with the demonstrated ability to apply them to a wide range of complex problems and train others in their application
• Prior CPE experience
• Active Top Secret clearance
